      • I loved Angels of Humility ! The principles on prayer and humility were powerful. But I struggle some with the power the angels displayed in the book, I would have attributed their actions to the Holy Spirit.

  2. Ms. Macgirvin, I just finished “The Designer Bag at the Garbage Dump and I cried all the way through. I would stay up until 3:00 A.M. because I couldn’t stop reading the book. This had to be an inspiration from our God .It was wonderful! I’ve never read such a wonderful story before and I learned so much about myself and my shortcomings. Thank you and God bless, Mary.

    • Mary,
I’m so glad that God used The Designer Bag at the Garbage Dump to touch your heart. Forgive yourself for your shortcomings, because the Lord does, and focus on what you want to replace them with. Then ask the Lord for grace to do it. I find that when I grit my teeth and use willpower that it doesn’t take me very far! Blessings to you.

    • Bonnie,
Thanks for your kind comments about Designer Bag book. I am in the final stages of turning it into a screenplay. Then I will be trying to find someone to make it into a movie. Please add that to your prayer request since I’m totally out of my element in this!

  4. Jackie, thank you for sharing not only ways to pray but also the ideas for whom to pray. The Lord has given me the privilege to be an intercessor for the First Baptist Church of Platte City, MO. I’m sure you recognize the location. I pray you were among those who visited the Tabernacle Experience we recently hosted. I wish I had read your book “AOH” before those ten days I served as a hostess. I met so many people who hungered to be closer to God. Maybe I could have been more bold and asked how I could pray for them.

The gift of Sarah speaking in tongues intrigued me. I have witnessed others speaking in tongues but the Holy Spirit has not, as yet, given me this gift. I pray some day He will. I have tried to grasp the concept of speaking in tongues as I continue to go about my day. I struggle to understand how to do those two things at once. Perhaps it’s because I can hardly breathe and tie my shoelaces at the same time. Could you elaborate on how one would speak in tongues almost sub-consciously?

Thank you so much for dusting off and finishing this wonderful treasure. I know God will continue to bless you. By the way, don’t give up on the “Y” chromosome yet. I was 56 when God brought me the most wonderful gentleman who is seeking after God’s own heart. This February we will celebrate our fifth anniversary.

  7. I read Designer Bag at the Garbage Dump twice in the last two weeks. I cried and laughed. Since my name is Julie, I could pretend He was talking to me. Which He was….through your words. Thank you for sharing this story. It will make a great movie. I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this story.
